Shaw Academy Review

Shaw Academy has countless tens of thousands of graduates, and a lot of skills that millions of people have learned.

They give a number of courses from digital marketing to photography (which had 1.5M+ graduates during the time of writing this), so clearly something has to be working, right?

Well, not much.

The web likes to vilify a lot of things. It's sort of a web user pastime, not that it should be. Shaw Academy had some issues before, but does that define them today?

We wished to cover sets from their services to the allegations, and ask the hard question: is Shaw Academy still worth it?

What is Shaw Academy?

Shaw Academy is an on line learning platform designed to assist you develop skills in a variety of job-related skills, creative talents, or useful technical skills that you should use to entirely switch careers.

The goal is to understand at your personal pace, or to register and teach skills to employees in the event that you work within an organization. Through mobile use, interactive courses, and resource delivery, they aim to provide a complete all-in-one online education experience.

How Does It Work?

According to their website, it's as easy as picking a course, attending 2 classes per week, completing the required tests and exams, and getting the certificate.

The web site has a list of all their diplomas and courses available to take. As an added incentive, first-time members are offered 4 weeks of free courses. 4 weeks is the normal length of a course. Quite simply, one course is on Shaw!

At this time, maybe you're wondering, how are courses run?

Well, they work with a proprietary learning platform called Phoenix. It delivers the lessons, manages assignments, and administers examinations. Pretty much just like regular schooling – simply schedule a training from their options, and you're set.

Classes are normally work for about an hour and are advertised to be live recordings. But as you have observed in the video, this isn't the case.  On the plus side, these modules are available for viewing later, alleviating any time-zone or commitment issues. 

But there exists a catch:

You cannot rewind the video although it is playing (since they said it absolutely was “live”). So just in case you miss a portion of the lesson for reasons uknown, then you definitely have to wait before you finish the entire course. In this manner, you can return and rewatch it.

Shaw Academy: Worth Your Time?

Initially, when I was making this review, I wrote the following:

“I would claim that Shaw Academy is worth it in 2021. Would I say the same for some years ago?

Probably not. Shaw Academy has come a long way and done what they ought to have throughout all the allegations, and even though little flak (which internet searches will always remind you of), they give an excellent value.”

It should be noted that Trustpilot—a number one resource for the trustworthiness of websites, businesses, and apps—has accused Shaw Academy of intentionally leading customers to leave overwhelmingly positive reviews.

This can be a practice that major companies use; they tell customers to leave reviews for them, you even get a prompt on the receipt you obtain once you purchase a cup of coffee. However, there exists a difference between asking someone to complete a survey, and asking someone to strictly complete an overwhelmingly positive survey.

Shaw Academy is accused, by town, of specifically preying on non-English speaking students, and while we personally didn't encounter that issue, there's enough recent, ongoing information online to claim that there could be some truth to that Read Full Article Here.
